1.3 Expression

In this section, you will answer the following questions:

What name did you finally choose?
Why was it chosen?
Do you know the date when the name was adopted? If yes, what is it?

If you have no proof of the date when your choice was made, the timestamp of the CreaBOOK will indicate the first occurrence.

Team recommendations: If the name was proposed by someone else, demonstrate that you directed the decision-making process and that you are the author of the final choice. If you wish to claim a date prior to the CreaBOOK timestamp, insert a footnote and provide the necessary evidence in the appendix to establish the prior date.

Refer to the reference example

In the reference example, Alain Souloumiac mentions that he named his new process ‘Unicorn Highway.’ Initially, his choice had settled on ‘Red Carpet’ as a tribute to Gérard de Villeroché and George Herrmann, who deeply influenced him in the drafting of his CreaBOOK. However, he felt the need to modernize this name.

“(…)

To give a name to the new standard of the CreaFREE ecosystem, I took inspiration from my conversations with Gérard de Villeroché and initially called it the “Red Carpet Process”. But times have changed. Today, the red carpet for startups is the unicorn highway. A creator who provides evidence that he or she is on that highway is likely to be received with a different level of care and courtesy than ordinary startups. To support a startup on this highway, venture capitalists will be willing to commit significant resources to vetting their proposal.

The red carpet of the Arabian Nights or the Cannes Film Festival needed a modern update. That’s why I set aside the initial name and, in mid-July 2023, chose “CreaCORN” to name the creation presented in this CreaBOOK.”
